never是形容词词性。never作“永不，绝不”解，表示全部否定，一般指经常性的状态，不用于修饰一次性的具体动作。never一般位于系动词及助动词之后，实义动词之前；如修饰动词不定式或分词，则要放在不定式或分词前。never可用于句首以加强语气，其后的句子要主谓倒装。never所处的位置不同时，句意也会有所不同。例句：I will never forget your kindness.我永远忘不了你的好意。
